The following are the web
pages, etc. that I have found of interest at some time or another. Most
have further links to explore. As usual some are more up to date than
others :-)
Wargames
Figures
Wargames Accessories
The Miniatures Page also has a directory of manufacturers and suppliers and
this can be found here.
Book
Suppliers
As well as the
large well know general book suppliers such as Amazon, I've included here some
more specialised military, etc. suppliers who may be able to source
out of print military books.

Wargamers
Web Sites
The following
are gamers whose sites I have visited on occasion. They mostly have
some DBx connection, but as you might expect some have other interests
as well.
All have other
links for the interested to follow, some of which are repeated here, a
lot are not. They are in no particular order, but all have interested
me for one reason or another. As with all web pages (including mine, of
course) they are updated at erratic intervals, if at all - many are now
very old.
Mailing
Lists, Forums, etc..There
are any number of internet resources
on which wargamers can communicate with like minded people, and
occasionally dispute things (surely not). Here is a selection of those
I read regularly:
- Ancmed
- a general
ancient and medieval wargaming/history list set up by the SOA,
although it is open to all. This is not
rule system specific, although DBM gets much coverage due to
popularity, and is an excellent compliment to the other rules specific
lists.
- Dbmlist
- the main English
language DBM mailing list, however, "family" members get an
occasional look in but are really catered for on specific lists (see
below). If you have any questions on the rules, or the military history
of the period they cover, I can guarantee that somebody on the list
will have an answer, or at least an opinion (especially an opinion).
- DBAlist
- the list for the father of all the DBx rules.
- DBRlist
- for the renaissance version of DBx.
- DBMMlist
- for Phil Barher's DBM successor.
- Field
of Glory - Richard Bodley Scott's post-DBx rule set published
by Osprey.
The new world order?
- BHGS
Wargaming
- for wargaming news, etc. in the UK.
- Shattered
Lances - for the Crusades era specific rules of that name.
- Armati
list - for those rules.
- WAB list
- for Warhammer Ancient Battles.
- Warmaster
Ancients - for the other GW historical rule set.
- TNE
- a list set up to facilitate the update of DBM lists, however, much of
the information is historical and could be used for any rule set.
- Strategos
- for Phil Sabin's rule set, published by the Society of Ancients.
- WAB
Forum - a forum rather than email based WAB resource.
- Roman Army Talk
- forum covering the Roman army and its enemies.
There are also many other mailing lists
on wargaming and historical subjects, rules, etc.. Yahoogroups is a good place to search.
