With the arrival of DBM v3.0 in the summer of 2000 the search was on for a regular army containing a reasonable strike force of Kn(F), as they were now seen as the mounted arm of choice due to the changes in (S) grading affecting Cv(S). Northern Dynasties Chinese seemed to offer just what I was looking for - regular generals, Kn(F), Kn(X) option along with a good number of LH for the all important skirmishing and some solid foot with supporting Ps.

The figures have all been morphed from my other armies with the infantry coming from the Han army and the mounted from the generic figures I use for my eastern mounted such as the Central Asian Turks.
